Week Eight Challenge - Beginner16th June 2020

It’s time to get creative in the kitchen with OTE! Pop on your apron and cook up a delight with as many colours as you can. Whether it’s something for dinner or a sweet-toothed snack, the choice is yours. Why not see if you can incorporate swim, bike, run into your multicoloured masterpiece?
Before you tuck in, take a picture and share it on social media using #StayInWorkOut and tagging in @OTESPORTSGB on Instagram and Twitter and @OTESPORTS on Facebook. OTE will then select winners who will receive:
1st Place - Box of Gels, Bulk Bag of Energy Drink, Box of Anytime Bars, Box of Duo Bars, Tube of Hydro Tabs, & 2 Brit Tri Bottles (RRP £116)
2nd Place - Box of Gels, Box of Anytime Bars, Tube of Hydro Tabs & 2 Brit Tri Bottles (RRP £67.80)

Cycling with a twist
Can you mount and dismount from your bike safely? Let’s get confident and ready for any future triathlons you do by practicing this skill. You’ll need 40 minutes for this challenge:
- Watch the video below
- Cycle for ten minutes and remind yourself of what to do by watching the video
- Go for another ten minute cycle and practice your mounting and dismounting
Choose a distance and plan a run route around your local area, can you complete it without stopping? Share your route with your friends who live nearby and challenge them to complete it without stopping and see who had the best time. You can use Strava to track your distance and time, using the record to compare your efforts and those of your friends.
