Week Nine Challenge - Beginner23rd June 2020
Week nine brings you the final week of challenges to complete on The Big Colour Challenge and we’re going out with a bang!
Plan a run route and try and create a pattern or piece of art by tracking yourself on Strava. When you get home, view your creation and share it with us on social media - @Brittri using #StayInWorkOut or #mystravapic. Make sure your picture is sensible and ‘decent’ and you remain within government guidelines when out on your run. Not sure how to build your own route on Strava, see their website here
Roll with it
Find a small hill in a local green space and make your way to the bottom with your bike. Cycle up and down the hill, getting used to changing gears and when. If you haven’t got a bike, then this can be done walking or running too! Keep an eye out for jelly legs when you finish.
Exercising is great, but it’s even better with a friend or family member. Why not plan a route over a distance you’re comfortable with and take someone along for a socially distanced run or walk? Try and include some hills to really get your heart pumping!
60 second challenge
This is one to get those arms nice and strong! Lay on the floor on your tummy with your hands under your shoulders. Keeping your back and legs straight, push yourself up with your arms until they’re fully extended, then slowly bend your arms again to lower your body close to the ground before pushing up again. Don’t forget to count how many you do!
If you want to make it a little easier, you can do it with your knees touching the floor. Challenge your family to see who can do the most in a minute.

Take on this scavenger hunt in your local area and why not challenge your friends to do the same.
